About My Sculpture - The core of my art is a modern interpretation of ancient archaeological and Megalithic elements one finds in Ireland and Scotland. Through my art I hope to create a connection with the sense of timelessness and nostalgia inspired by the archaeology and landscape of my native Ireland. Using symbols and different materials incorporating earth, air, stone, fire, water and shadow in mixed media, I explore lunar and solar patterns, time orientation and hieroglyphs that speak to unity, eternity and love. ~ Karin Stanley
